Apparently, SMRT has a sense of humour too.
On Wednesday, I took the train to school for my fine-dining test (Yes. There's such thing in school). I was on my way to Douby Ghaut station when the PA system announced, "Next Stop, Raffles Place Interchange. Passengers going to...".
Yah. What the hell. Was wondering for a really brief moment whether I could possibly be so cock to take the wrong train, perhaps attributed to my pre-test nervousness. It did get the other passengers jittery. Saw a couple of foreign passengers asking around to confirm where they were heading to.
Arrived at Douby Ghaut station. System announced,"Raffles Place Interchange".
Phew..
Made it to the fine-dining venue just on time.

I Hate the Exam Periods..
Ever wonder how everything else seems so much more interesting when the exam period looms.
Suddenly, I have this huge urge to read books which I lack interest in just a few weeks back. Stumbled across this book, "The 7 Powers of Questions" by Dorothy Leeds which explains how training yourself to ask the right questions to yourself or to others can make your life richer. Then I have this urge to read up on travel books. And suddenly, I want to plan a exercise program to bulk up myself. Borrowed "Men's Body Sculpting" by Nick Evans. When will the distracting thoughts cease.
And a few things to complain:
1) Screaming for my school to expand study area in the campus. The library is so crowded. Not to mention that all rooms are fully booked. Can't I find some private corner in school to mug in peace?
2) Feel the strong urge to watch a movie or to play soccer just to destress. Just received a sms from Edmund about bball. Actually, I'm not tt keen. My left hand isn't feeling good this week, no thanks to the recent erratic weather.
3) Feel the acute need to socialise. While it is good to study alone so you may concentrate better, it feels really 'alone' (k.. Lonely is the right word). It's a bit contradictory. Tried studying with some friends yesterday, and I ended up distracted by long dinner break, short chats, etc etc etc. Not entirely productive. I had spent a couple of days at my old study haunt (Queenstown Community Library.. Great place.. ). It gets pretty boring after a while. Felt something was lacking.
Maybe i'm not an introvert as a I thought I am. Maybe I'm an extrovert who is not comfortable talking with people. I must say it is quite bad personality combination. As a result, I'm not drawing enough energy for myself. Which explains why..
4) I couldn't get out of bed every morning. No mood and drive at all.. Zzz.. The only things which had gotten me out of my bed and sleep in the past few weeks were deadlines and meetings. Now that they are gone, no pull factor. I need some motivation..
5) I eat a lot when I'm studying. It is hurting my wallet and my body weight.
